SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 28 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian media research agency Perceptica, part of business intelligence provider A Data Pro, said on Friday it has signed a 264,000 euro ($288,200) deal with the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) for tracking and analysing the presence of the EU agency in traditional, online and social media.
“Perceptica is the first agency in Bulgaria specialized in analyzing content and measuring reputation in traditional, online and social media,” Georgi Auad, director of Perceptica, said in a press release. “Thanks to our analyses, EIGE will be able to improve its responses, strategy and work on the issue of gender equality,” he added.
The four-year contract envisages media monitoring and analysis in 26 languages for all EU member states, including an overview of the presence and image of EIGE in traditional and online media, periodical analyses of social media buzz and the newsletter of the institute, and ad hoc tracking of the coverage of EIGE events and initiatives in online and social media.
“The European institutions are among the most demanding clients and the EIGE contract we have won is a great achievement for Perceptica,” Raina Grigorova, a business development expert with A Data Pro, said.
Sofia-based Perceptica is a reputation measurement and analysis pioneer for Bulgaria, part of the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC).
The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) is an EU agency providing research, data and good practices on gender equality issues.
