October 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Veliko Tarnovo municipality said that it awarded a five-year 10.2 million levs ($6.1 million/5.2 million euro) waste management contract to Sofia-based company Nelsen-Chistota.
The company will be responsible for the collection and disposal of household waste on the territory of the city of Veliko Tarnovo and the villages of Sheremetya, Malki Chiflik, and Arbanasi, the municipality said in a notice published on the website of the public procurement agency earlier this week.
The deal was signed on September 15.
Nelsen-Chistota submitted the sole offer in the tender procedure for awarding the contract. The company's bid was ranked solely based on price.
