August 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian textile company Mak [BUL:4MK] said that its consolidated net profit rose to 1.5 million levs ($850,000/767,000 euro) in the first half of 2019 from 1.2 million levs in the same period of 2018.
The company's operating expenses fell to 7.8 million levs in the January-June period of 2019 from 8.1 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, Mak said in an interim financial statement on Wednesday.
Mak's operating revenue remained unchanged year-on-year at 9.3 million levs.
The company's assets increased to 23.4 million levs at the end of June from 20.9 million levs a year earlier.
Gabrovo-based Mak specialises in the production of police, firefighter and military uniforms.
