November 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian insurance company Lev Ins is planning to offer motor third party liability insurance in Poland, according to a statement by the Financial Supervision Commission.
The regulator asked Lev Ins to provide further information regarding its intentions, the FSC said in a statement late on Tuesday.
The FSC did not provide further details.
Last month, the regulator also asked Lev Ins for information regarding the company's plans to set up branches in France, Romania and Greece.
According to data from the company's website, Lev Ins holds a 13% market share on the Bulgarian insurance market.
The insurer has 108 offices and employs over 1,000 people.
