January 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian medical consumables producer Etropal [BUL:5EO] said on Tuesday that its net profit rose to 43,000 levs ($25,000/22,000 euro) in 2018 from 24,000 levs the year before.

Total expenses amounted to 8.17 million levs in the review period, up from 7.31 million levs in 2017. The increase was mainly due to higher expenses for materials, which totalled 4.79 million levs in 2018, compared to 3.32 million levs a year earlier.
