November 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's competition regulator said that it has imposed two fines of 133,660 levs ($77,800/68,300 euro) each on digital media company Net Info, part of Nova Broadcasting Group, over unfair competition practices.
Net Info has distributed a presentation of its service Adwise - Programmatic, which contained two false statements, the Commission for Protection of Competition said in a statement on Tuesday.
Each of the two fines represents 1% of Net Info's net sales revenue in 2017.
In July, the anti-trust authority banned the acquisition of Nova Broadcasting Group by Czech Republic-based investment group PPF. Subsequently, PPF appealed the regulator's decision before the Supreme Administrative Court in August.
In February, when the deal was announced, MTG said that the transaction values 100% of Nova at 185 million euro.
