December 28 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) said that Sofia-based insurance company Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group [BUL:4BI] was delisted from the bourse as of December 28.
The decision came after the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) approved the company’s request to be removed from the register of public companies, BSE said in a statement last week.
Last month, FSC said it allowed the publication of a proposal by TBI Bulgaria to buy 10,000 shares of Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group which it does not already own.
TBI Bulgaria's buyout bid was priced at 44.78 levs ($27.1/22.9 euro) per share.
TBI Bulgaria is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Vienna Insurance Group (VIG).
