January 12 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) said it decided to admit local metal packaging manufacturer Bulmetal to trading on its main market starting January 17.
Bulmetal's stock will trade under the code BMTL, with the indicative reference price per share for the first trading session set at 8.85 levs ($4.97/4.52 euro), the BSE said in a statement on Thursday.
The company's equity capital comprises some 7.16 million shares of 1 lev in par value each.
Last month, Bulmetal raised over 8.2 million levs in an initial public offering on the BSE. The company received orders for 928,000 shares from over a hundred local and foreign investors during the subscription period from December 8 to 15.
Based in Gurkovo, Bulmetal is a leading Bulgarian metal packaging manufacturer, exporting over 70% of its production to 400 clients in Central and Eastern Europe. Through its subsidiaries, Cevolani in Italy and BiBRA in Germany, the company is also a key supplier of packaging machinery globally, with customers on four continents.
