November 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian stock indices ended narrowly mixed on Friday in declining turnover, bourse data showed.
The SOFIX index, which comprises the 20 most liquid shares trading on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), rose 0.06% to 461.70 points. On Thursday, the blue-chip benchmark dropped 1.06%.
The broader BG40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the bourse, lost 0.18% to 124.68 points on Friday after a 0.27% drop in the previous session.
Total turnover, excluding block and other pre-agreed deals, declined to 1.277 million levs (970,000/650,000 euro) from 3.136 million levs on Thursday.
Thirty-seven stocks rose, 32 fell and fourteen closed flat on Friday.
Eighteen of the blue chips were traded on Friday with eight moving higher, three ending flat and the rest losing ground.
The most liquid blue chip was Eurohold Bulgaria, trading in a volume of 56,256 shares. It ended up 0.687% at 2.93 levs.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, dipped 0.04% to 49.16 points, after losing 1.5% on Thursday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.1% to 350.37 points after edging 0.72% down on Thursday.
The Dnevnik 20 index, calculated by local business daily Dnevnik from the share prices of the 20 leading companies in terms of liquidity and market capitalisation, fell 0.33% to 65.99 points after shedding 0.84% on Thursday.
