September 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian share indices closed mixed on Thursday as turnover rose slightly, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), edged down 0.01% to 365.46 points after rising 0.68% on Wednesday.
The broader BG40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, gained 0.91% to 119.69 points following a 0.50% increase a day earlier.
Total turnover on the regulated market rose to 740,000 levs ($522,000/378,000 euro) from 651,000 levs in the previous session.
Five of the 14 SOFIX components that were traded on Thursday fell, seven advanced and two ended flat.
Minerals extracting and processing company Kaolin [BUL:6K1] led the SOFIX gainers, ending 3.17% higher at 2.5 levs in a volume of 1,060 shares.
Doverie Obedinen Holding [BUL:5DOV] was the top blue-chip loser, closing 10.38% lower at 2.15 levs as 680 shares changed hands. Doverie Obedinen Holding will be removed from the SOFIX index as of September 19.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, shed 0.58% to 48.02 points following an advance of 1.58% on Wednesday.
The BG TotalReturn30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, slid 0.43% to 303.01 points after climbing 1.06% a day earlier.
The Dnevnik 20 index, calculated by local business daily Dnevnik from the share prices of the 20 leading companies in terms of liquidity and market capitalisation, was up 0.11% at 53.67 points. It finished 0.07% lower in the previous session.
