September 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian waste management firm Eco Invest Assets will build a 70 million lev ($50 millon/35.8 million euro) waste disposal facility in the country's third-biggest city of Varna, state news agency BTA said on Wednesday.
The waste storage unit will be ready in two years, BTA reported. The consortium was picked by the Varna municipal council after winning a public procurement, the news agency said.
Officials from Eco Invest Assets and the Varna municipality were not available for comment.
Eco Invest Assets was set up in June 2007 and is fully owned by Anton Dermendjiev, data from the Bulgarian business register Apis showed.
