March 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's government said on Wednesday it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States on mutual cataloging services related to defence items.
"The signing of the document creates an opportunity for the Bulgarian defence ministry to receive for free from the United States Department of Defense all cataloging products and services needed for the normal functioning of the National Codification System compatible with the NATO Codification System," the government said in a statement.
The cooperation will help Bulgaria achieve full compatibility with other NATO members regarding the management of defence-related items and will optimise costs when delivering military equipment during multinational operations, the statement reads.
