November 8 (SeeNews) - Zeljeznice Republike Srpske [BANJ:ZERS-R-A], the railway operator of Bosnia's Serb Republic, said on Wednesday its net loss narrowed 35% to 7.8 million marka ($4.6 million/4.0 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017.
Operating income rose 1.7% to 49.2 million marka in the nine months through September, while operating costs dropped to 55.1 million marka from 58.4 million marka, Zeljeznice RS said in a financial statement sent to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
The Serb Republic and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the two autonomous parts that make up Bosnia. Zeljeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine is the railway company of the Federation.
