November 23 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's unemployment rate climbed to 42.2% in September from 42.1% a month earlier, the statistics office said on Monday.
The number of unemployed in the Balkan state totalled 502,192 in September versus 500,683 in August, the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in a statement posted on its website.
Bosnia’s unemployment rate was 40.5% in September 2008.
Bosnia, a country of some 4.0 million people, was split into two autonomous parts - the Muslim-Croat Federation and the Serb Republic - by the 1992-95 civil war.
