March 4 (SeeNews) - Bosnian coal mining and energy producing company RiTE Ugljevik [BANJ:RTEU-R-A] said it booked a net profit of 978,003 marka ($542,607/500,045 euro) in 2023 after recording a net loss of 13.8 million marka a year earlier.
RiTE Ugljevik's operating income went up 6.1% on the year to 182.7 million marka in 2023, while operating costs increased by 4.9% to 188.9 million marka, the company said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) last week.
The company's financial expenses decreased to 5.8 million marka in 2023 from 21.1 million marka in 2022, as financial revenue was flattish on an annual comparison basis, standing at 14.8 million marka last year.
The company's shares last traded on the BLSE on February 28, closing 9.09% higher at 0.024 marka.
