December 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's unemployment rate climbed to 42.3% in October from revised 42.1% a month earlier, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday.
The number of unemployed in the Balkan state totalled 503,979 in October versus revised 502,192 in September, the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in a statement on its website.
Bosnia’s official unemployment rate was 40.3% in October 2008.
Bosnia, a country of some 4.0 million people, was split into two autonomous parts - the Muslim-Croat Federation and the Serb Republic - by the 1992-95 civil war.
