October 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's industrial sales decreased by 15% year-on-year in August, the country's statistical office said.
Industrial sales abroad dropped by 14%, while sales on the domestic market fell 16%, the statistical office said in a monthly report on Monday.
Sales of intermediate goods fell 15% on the year, while sales of non-durable consumer goods grew by 10%. Sales of durable goods lost 6.1%.
Sales of capital goods decreased by 6.4% year-on-year in August, while sales of energy plummeted 68%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Bosnia's industrial sales fell by 5.1% in August.
Bosnia's industrial sales edged up 0.1% on the year in the first eight months of 2019.
