August 29 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 599 GWh in June, up from 548 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Electricity imports fell 57% on the year to 34 GWh in June, while exports dropped to 36 GWh from 166 GWh, the entity's statistical office said.
The net electricity output of hydro power plants rose to 148 GWh in June, from 129 GWh in the same month of 2021, while the output of thermal power plants reached 418 GWh from 402 GWh.
The Federation's net electricity output in June was 17% higher than in May.
Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports doubled in June, while exports were unchanged.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
