April 29 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 673 GWh in March, down from 862 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.
Electricity imports more than doubled on the year to 39 GWh in March, while exports fell to 164 GWh from 538 GWh, the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The net electricity output of hydro power plants fell to 213 GWh in March, from 408 GWh in the same month of 2021, while the output of thermal power plants dipped to 110 GWh from 123 GWh.
The Federation's net electricity output in March was 5.7% lower than in January.
Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports rose 30% in March, while exports fell 19%.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
