October 7 (SeeNews) - The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federation said it has given the nod to the entity's environment ministry to grant the required permits for the construction of five solar power plants to local renewable energy company Eco-Wat.
Each of the solar power plants will have an installed capacity of 4.999 MW and expected annual electricity production of 7.15 GWh, the Federation's government said in a press release on Thursday.
The solar power plants will be built in the municipality of Stolac.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
