July 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda HZHB [SAJ:JPEMR] said its net profit edged down 1.1% year-on-year to 19.7 million marka ($10.3 million/10.1 million euro) in the first half of 2022.
The company's operating revenue rose 4.4% year-on-year to 199.5 million marka in the January-June period, while operating costs increased by 3.1% to 170.9 million marka, the company said in a financial statement on Thursday.
The power utility's financial income dropped by an annual 18% to 457,445 marka in the first six months of 2022, whereas financial expenses rose to 7.5 million marka from 3.5 million marka.
The company's shares last traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) on July 7, closing flat at 30 marka.
Elektroprivreda HZHB is the smallest of the three Bosnian state-owned power utilities. It is based in the Federation entity.
Bosnia's largest power utility is Elektroprivreda BiH, also based in the Federation, which together with the Serb Republic entity forms Bosnia and Herzegovina. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.
