March 11 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] said on Monday that it booked a net loss of 142.3 million marka ($79.6 million/72.8 million euro) in 2023, after recording a net profit of 2.7 million marka the year before.
The company's 2023 total revenue fell 10.7% on an annual comparison basis, to 1.2 billion marka, while its total costs increased 1% to 1.3 million marka, EPBiH said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
The company's shares traded 0.10% higher at 10.01% by 12:37 CET on Monday on the Sarajevo bourse.
Elektroprivreda BiH, Bosnia's largest power utility, is based in the Federation entity. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.
The Federation and the Serb Republic are two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
