April 26 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-owned road company Autoceste FBiH said on Tuesday it signed a contract worth 74.9 million marka ($40.9 million/38.3 million euro) with local construction company Hering for the construction of a section of the Lasva-Nevic Polje expressway.
The 4.8-kilometre section stretches from the Vitez intersection to the Nevic Polje intersection and includes four bridges and one viaduct, Autoceste FBiH said in a press release.
The assignment should be completed within 20 months.
The project is financed by the government of Bosnia's Federation, Autoceste FBiH added.
Autoceste FBiH said in February it awarded Hering the deal for the construction of the section. Hering submitted the lowest price in a tender which attracted four offers, Autoceste FBiH said at the time.
The Lasva-Nevic Polje expressway has a total length of 24.385 kilometres, divided into five sections.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities comprising Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
