March 29 (SeeNews) - The share indices of Bosnia and Herzegovina's two stock exchanges, in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, closed mixed on Friday, compared to the week-earlier levels, bourse data showed.
On the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE), the 10-share benchmark SASX-10 equity index added 0.75% on a weekly basis, to close at 951.30 points on Friday. The broader SASX-30 index, which is composed of the 30 most liquid stocks on the SASE, went up 0.03% to finish at 1,875.06 points.
The SASE index tracking investment funds, the BIFX, ended the week at 662.71 points, down 0.69%.
The Islamic stock index SASX-BBI, launched by the SASE and Bosna Bank International (BBI), climbed 0.98% to 10,739.37 points.
SASE’s total turnover slightly rose to 30.3 million marka ($16.7 million/15.5 million euro) from 29.4 million marka last week.
The SASE is based in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The BLSE is based in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
The benchmark index of the BLSE, the BIRS, shed 0.51% this week to close at 927 points on Friday.
BLSE's total trading turnover fell to 21.1 million marka from 45.5 million marka last week.
