November 19 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) said it has named Luka Petrovic new managing director.
The appointment of Petrovic was approved by the supervisory board of ERS, the company said in a statement on Friday.
Petrovic, a former mayor of Trebinje, will replace Radmila Cickovic, who resigned for personal reasons on Friday, ERS said.
"We entrusted the management board with the task of forming a commission as soon as possible in order to carry out the transfer of duties," the deputy chairman of the supervisory board, Nebojsa Rikalo, said in the statement.
ERS is the power utility of Bosnia's Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
Bosnia has two other power utilities - Elektroprivreda HZHB and Elektroprivreda BiH, the largest of the three. Elektroprivreda HZHB and Elektroprivreda BiH are both based in the Federation.
