March 7 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power distribution company Elektrokrajina [BANJ:EKBL-R-A] said it made a net profit of 2.2 million marka ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) in 2023, significantly higher compared with 605,228 marka made the previous year.
Total operating revenues increased 21.5% on the year to 150.2 million marka in 2023 as operating costs rose 16.3% to 148.5 million marka, the company said in a filing to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) earlier this week.
Elektrokrajina's shares last traded on the BLSE on March 4, when they closed 0.85% lower at 0.117 marka.
Elektrokrajina is a unit of Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS), the power utility company of Bosnia's Serb Republic entity.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
