- BH Telecom said it has opened its second sale centre in Bosnia’s Serb Republic, in the northern town of Doboj, bringing the total number of its centres in Bosnia to 21.
- Bosnian auto parts maker Cimos, a unit of Slovenia’s Cimos, has recorded in the past two months the highest productivity rate since the company started operations three years ago, the director of the Bosnian plant, Azem Huremovic, said. He added the company has made no layoffs because of the crisis. It employs some 100 people.
- Bosnia will attract only 400 million marka in foreign direct investments this year versus 700 million marka in 2008, said Drago Vucic, the head of the Banja Luka office of Bosnia’s Foreign Investment Promotion Agency. It was not clear whether the investment figures are net or gross.

- Bosnian construction firm Amitea has hired six new workers this year although its 2009 turnover will be lower on the year by almost 2.0 million marka, director Senad Husnic said. The firm now employs 40 people and plans no layoffs but has made no investments this year due to the crisis, he added. Amitea had a 860,000 marka profit on a turnover of 7.2 million marka in 2008.
