- The Muslim-Croat Federation President Borjana Kristo said it is unacceptable that companies generating the biggest revenue in the public sector have been reporting losses for years, allowing public funds to go into the hands of a limited circle of people.
- The 3.0 million euro bond issue of Bosnian micro-credit firm SINERGIJAplus was 70.23% subscribed on the Banja Luka bourse versus a success threshold of 60%, which makes the firm the first limited liability company in Bosnia to issue bonds, Advantis Broker brokerage said. The papers will mature in three years and carry an annual interest of 8.0%.
- The Serb Republic is preparing legislation on the conditions required for building facilities and storages for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Dragana Kalabic, assistant at the Republic’s Industry, Energy and Mining Industry, said. LPG imports to Bosnia rose to 17,000 tonnes in 2008 from 12,000 tonnes a year earlier, she added.
