- Bosnian innovation technology firm Turbina IPD has signed a contract with a Canadian firm for the construction of trial installations, which will feed electricity to telecommunication base stations, Turbina IPD CEO Miroslav Tesic said, He did not name the Canadian company.
- Lending rates in Bosnia have stabilized after rising drastically as a result of the global crisis, bank officials said.
- International ratings agency Dun & Bradstreet has downgraded Bosnia’s credit rating from DB5c (high risk for doing business) to DB6a (very high risk for doing business) mainly due to the unstable political situation and general lack of security. According to the agency, 20.3% of Bosnian firms' payments to foreign companies were more than 30 days late.
