- The Serb Republic parliament has approved the Republic’s 1.6 billion marka balanced budget draft for 2010.
DNEVNI AVAZ
- Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH said it has signed a 4.6 million euro contract with the local unit of Germany’s Siemens for the revamp of 12 substations. The contract is part of a bigger project for the renovation of the utility’s power grid. As part of the project, Elektroprivreda BiH has so far signed 14 other contracts worth a total of 27.3 million marka.

- A total of 73,089 people have lost their jobs in Bosnia in the 12 months through October 2009, the Agency for Labour and Employment said.
- Bosnia’s central bank governor Kemal Kozaric said 2010 will be a hard and challenging year for Bosnia and no significant recovery can be expected before 2011.
