July 12 (SeeNews) - Bosnian civil engineering company Bosman is building two logistics centres worth a total of 8 million marka ($4.6 million/4.1 million euro) for DB Schenker and Express One near Sarajevo, local media reported.
Both logistics facilities are located in the Boce industrial zone in Hadzici, some 20 km west of Sarajevo, spreading on an area of 20,000 square metres, business news portal eKapija.com reported on Thursday.
"These are going to be logistics centres that have not been seen yet in our region, with quality and modern looks and equipment," Bosman CEO Sunija Jahic was quoted as saying.
DB Schenker's logistics centre will have a warehouse of some 4,000 square metres, office space of 600 square metres and a total of 8,000 square metres of processing space with parking spots and green area.
Express One's logistics centre will feature a warehouse and office space of some 3,000 square metres, as well as processing space with parking spots and green area of 8,000 square metres.
Germany's DB Schenker is a division of railway operator Deutsche Bahn. Sarajevo-based Express One is a subsidiary of Austrian Post
Construction works are expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
