August 11 (SeeNews) - Turnover on the Slovenian stock exchange rose on Friday, as the bulk was generated by a block deal in the shares of drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG], stock exchange data showed.
Krka generated a turnover of 3.26 million euro ($3.8 million), including a 2.75 million euro block deal for 50,000 shares. The company's shares closed without change at 55.0 euro.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE increased to 3.7 million euro on Friday from 2.9 million euro on Thursday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on LJSE, fell 0.66% to 803.32 points, after adding 0.85% on Thursday.
Insurer Pozavarovalnica Sava [LJSE:POSR] fell the most among blue chips on Friday, as it closed 4.29% lower at 15.6 euro.
