September 14 (SeeNews) - Belgrade Stock Exchange indices closed in the red on Tuesday, as industrial chemicals maker Messer Tehnogas [LJE:TGAS] lost most in share value among the blue-chips, bourse data showed.
Messer Tehnogas' shares closed 2.94% lower at 16,501 dinars on Tuesday, stock market data showed.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.70% at 802.60 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.29% at 1,712.44.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 8.4 million dinars ($84,300/71,400 euro) on Tuesday, down from 482.4 million dinars on Monday, as 74 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 2.5 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 4.5 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
