January 6 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Belgrade bourse lost ground on Wednesday as total daily turnover decreased, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, edged down 0.01% at 634.92 points after closing 0.81% lower on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline index declined 0.14% to 1,364.50 after closing down 0.64%in the previous trading session.
Total turnover decreased to 7.6 million dinars ($67,000/62,000 euro) from 16.1 million dinars on Tuesday.
Lender AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB] generated the day's largest turnover of 2.5 million dinars, closing down 2.44% at 1,800 dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the session's gainers, rising 8.08% to 1,124 dinars with 22 shares changing hands.
The preferred shares of tobacco company Philip Morris Operations [BEL:DINNPB] paced the session's decliners, losing 2.57% to 1,975 dinars with 22 shares changing hands. The company's ordinary shares were not traded.
