SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 1 (SeeNews) – Belgian Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications provider Attractel on Monday said it has signed a deal with Bulgarian telecoms company Max Telecom to provide it with its VoIP solutions.
“Attractel has successfully enabled Max Telecom its service offering of Voice over IP solutions as part of their service portfolio,” Attractel said in a statement.
No financial details of the deal were immediately available.
Max Telecom is currently building a WiMAX network, which it has said will cover 90% of Bulgaria's population of 7.7 million people by the end of 2009. Many telecoms operators see the use of the WiMAX technology as a way to overcome the last-mile hurdle set by the dominant fixed-line operator in Bulgaria, the BTC.
