May 23 (SeeNews) - The aggregate value of Macedonian banks' outstanding loans to the private sector edged up 0.7% year-on-year to 281.8 billion denars ($5.15 billion/4.6 billion euro) in April, after an annual drop of 0.3% in March, data from the central bank, NBRM, showed.
The value of deposits with Macedonian banks increased 6.3% on the year to 316.8 billion denars at end-April, following a 4.2% increase in the previous month, according to data published on the website of NBRM.
Macedonian banks' total assets grew by 2.3% year-on-year, reaching 533.6 billion denars at the end of April, after increasing by 2.0% in March.
