February 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian investment firm Alpha Bulgaria [BUL:VZW] said that its warrant holder Theresien Hausverwaltung is seeking authorisation to exercise its rights under the warrants.
Theresien requested that a meeting of warrant holders should be held with the aim of taking a decision for exercising the warrants, Alpha Bulgaria said in a bourse filing.
The company added that its board of directors will consider Theresien’s request and will decide on convening a meeting.
Theresien holds 127.05 million warrants, representing 65.19% of the issued shares.
Alpha Bulgaria has issued 194.89 million warrants, each providing its owner with rights to subscribe for one Alpha Bulgaria share at a price of 1 lev within a five-year period. The warrants have been traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange since May 2022, bourse data show.
