TIRANA (Albania), December 29 (SeeNews) – Albanian power distributor OSHEE said it purchased a total of 4,712 MWh of electricity worth 259,530 euro ($309,700), to be delivered in two lots in January.
OSHEE announced and concluded the auction on December 28, the company said in a report late on Thursday.
A total of seven domestic and foreign power suppliers participated in the auction, of which OSHEE picked only HSE d.o.o. Ljubljana.
The average price achieved in the auction was 52.70 euro/MWh for the first lot (0:00 - 24:00 hours) and 64 euro/MWh for the second lot (7:00 - 23:00 hours).
