December 7 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator rose by 2 percentage points (pp) to 101.9 in November, the central bank said on Wednesday.
The economic confidence indicator in November was influenced by increased confidence in the construction and services sectors, and the improvement both in the consumer confidence and trade sector, Bank of Albania said in its monthly survey.
The construction confidence indicator was up 5.8 pp month-on-month in November, whereas the consumer confidence indicator rose slightly by 0.9 pp.
The services confidence indicator increased 3.2 pp after declining during the previous four months, while the trade confidence indicator rose slightly by 0.5 pp.
The industry confidence indicator dropped by 3.8 pp in November compared with October.
Bank of Albania is carrying out the surveys of businesses and consumers since 2002. Starting from May 2021, the frequency of the survey was changed from quarterly to monthly.
