November 8 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator fell by 2 percentage points (pp) to 99.9 in October, the central bank said.
The economic confidence indicator in October was influenced by a decline of confidence in the construction, industry, services and trade sectors, Bank of Albania said in its monthly survey on Monday.
The construction confidence indicator was down 7.2 pp month-on-month in October, whereas the consumer confidence indicator fell 0.6 pp. The services confidence indicator dropped 1.1 pp.
The industry confidence indicator fell by 1.1 pp in October compared with September. The trade confidence indicator fell 2.6 pp in the month under review.
Bank of Albania is carrying out the surveys of businesses and consumers since 2002. Starting from May 2021, the frequency of the survey was changed from quarterly to monthly.
