October 30 (SeeNews) - The Polytechnic university of Tirana said on Monday it has signed a 620 million leks ($6.2 million/5.9 million euro) contract with a consortium of local construction operators Metro and R&T for the reconstruction of the building of the faculty of geology and mining.
The tie-up won with an offer higher than the estimated 580 million leks budget, a contract notice on the country’s public procurement portal shows.
The project also envisages the construction of a new building to accommodate a geology museum, tender documents in showed earlier.
The works should be concluded within two years from the contract signing.
