TIRANA (Albania), July 18 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power transmission system operator OST recorded a net profit of 906.4 million leks ($8.3 million/7.3 million euro) last year, down from 1.4 billion leks in 2017, it said.

The company's operating profit decreased to 448.0 million leks in 2018, from 1.37 billion leks in the prior year, OST said in an annual financial statement published earlier this week.

The revenue from transmission services increased to 5.2 billion leks from 4.5 billion leks.

The company's total assets increased to 70.8 billion leks at the end of December, from 64.3 billion leks a year earlier.

OST’s total equity grew to 31.2 billion leks from 30.4 billion leks.
