March 8 (SeeNews) - The net asset value (NAV) of the investment funds operating in Albania rose to 50.3 billion leks ($529 million/484 million euro) at the end of December 2023, a 9.2% increase from a year earlier, the financial supervision authority, AMF, said.
Compared to the end of June 2023, NAV expanded by 16.14% in the six months through December, AMF said in a report on Thursday.
The proportion of government securities in the funds increased to 64.17% by the end of December.
Thirteen investment funds operated in Albania at the end of December 2023, compared with eleven a year earlier.
Raiffeisen Bank’s investment fund Raiffeisen Prestigj was the largest in terms of NAV, followed by Raiffeisen Vision and Raiffeisen Invest Euro.
