TIRANA (Albania), October 10 (SeeNews) – The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of Albania's banking system fell to 11.0% at the end of August, from 11.2% a month earlier, official figures showed on Thursday.
The NPL ratio at the end of August was lower on an annual comparison basis as well, according to figures published by Bank of Albania. The country's banking system had a NPL ratio of 12.9% in August last year.
The data refers to the loan portfolios of 13 banks operating in Albania.
