February 27 (SeeNews) - Albania will offer a total of 11.9 billion leks ($93.3 million/88.1 million euro) in six-month and one-year Treasury bills at an auction on March 7, according to an announcement posted on the central bank's website.
Albania will offer 2.7 billion leks in six-month Treasury bills and 9.2 billion leks in one-year government securities.
At the last auction of six-month Treasury bills held on February 7, the finance ministry sold 4 billion leks of Treasury paper, in line with its target. The average weighted yield on the issue fell to 2.01% from 2.25% previously.
On February 21, the ministry sold 9.7 billion leks in one-year Treasury bills, in line with its target. The average weighted yield on the issue dropped to 2.81% from 3.05% previously.
