December 22 (SeeNews) - Albania's central bank said it will auction on Tuesday 2.0 billion leks ($21 million/14.7 million euro) worth of three-month treasury bills.
The T-bills have an issue date of December 25 and will mature on March 25, 2010, the Bank of Albania, which offers the T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, said in a statement.
Albania's three-month T-bills produced a weighted average yield of 6.31% in the last auction held on December 2, down from the 6.33% achieved in previous auction on November 3.
The Bank of Albania has auctioned Treasury bills worth 365.22 billion leks since the beginning of this year. It auctioned T-bills worth 373 billion leks in par value last year, compared to 386.83 billion leks in 2007.
