August 16 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold about 9.5 billion leks ($82.3 million/81.1 million euro) worth of government securities at two auctions held on August 16, data by the country's central bank shows.
The finance ministry sold 8.5 billion leks worth of one-year Treasury bills that will mature on August 17, 2023, the data shows. Some 2.5 billion leks of the offer was reserved for the country's central bank.
The finance ministry also sold 1 billion leks worth of three-month government securities with a maturity date of November 17, 2022. Some 300 million leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
