February 28 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 10.2 billion leks ($94.3 million/88.6 million euro) worth of government securities at two auctions held on Tuesday, data by the country's central bank shows.
The finance ministry sold 9.2 billion leks worth of one-year Treasury bills that will mature on February 29, 2024, the data shows. Some 2.3 billion leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
The finance ministry also sold 1 billion leks worth of six-month government bills with a maturity date of August 31, 2023. Some 300 million leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
