January 4 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 14.8 billion leks ($138.9 million/130.9 million euro) worth of government securities at two auctions held on Wednesday, data by the country's central bank shows.
The finance ministry sold 13.799 billion leks worth of one-year Treasury bills that will mature on January 4, 2024, the data shows. Some 1.45 billion leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
The finance ministry also sold 999 million leks worth of three-month government bills with a maturity date of April 6, 2023. Some 247.42 million leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
