BELGRADE (Serbia), July 17 (SeeNews) – Flag carrier Air Serbia started operations from the Konstantin Veliki airport in Nis, in the east of the country, on July 15, it said.
The company launched on July 15 flights linking Nis to Germany's Nuremberg, one of 12 new lines from the Konstantin Veliki airport that are planned in the forthcoming period, Air Serbia said in a statement earlier this week.
In the period between July 15 and 17, the Serbian flag carrier will begin flightsying from Nis airport to Bologna, Hannover, Tivat, Gothenburg and Frankfurt-Hahn, while in the first three days of August, it will commence operations to Ljubljana, Budapest, Friedrichshafen, Salzburg, Rome and Karlsruhe, it said.
"With this flight today, Nis Konstantin Veliki airport is officially becoming a hub for our aircraft alongside the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. We are certain that better connections to Germany will contribute to strengthening commercial activities and tourism between our two countries," Air Serbia's General Manager Commercial and Strategy, Jiri Marek, noted.
